Wide shot- answers the question, where are we?
good for crowd shots
Full shots are good for 2 or more characters and when they have quite a bit of movement
Medium shots are good for 1 or 2 characters
gives them enough room for broad acting or acting from the hips
good for a 2 shot as well, far enough for both and close enough to show the emotion.
